Ratings

There's so many ways to rate and review a pie that it would be dishonest to the forefathers of our generation that built this land fueled through meat discs and rat coffins to set a standard to rule them all.

Below are some elements that are commonly considered during professional pie reviews:

Categories

  • Crust - The pastry covering the top and/or bottom of the pie. Can be split into top and bottom depending on the differences
  • Filling - The contents of the pie, judged on the taste and mouthfeel
  • Value - A simple formula, (Quality of the pie) / (Cost of the pie) - (Amount in pocket). Other pie joints in the local vicinity are to be factored
  • Pairings - Complimentary pairings are to be also judged, ranging from sauce, beers and choccy milk

Ratings

Ratings are arbitrary. What we aim here to build a collection of solid reviews and opinions from each reviewer, get to know us and our reviews. Think of us as the Roger Ebert of pies, only there's 5 of us, and we do pies and restaurants, but not movies. Unless you want us to, we can do movies. We'll do whatever you want!
